At Kerembla we are committed to preserving and preventing the disturbance of the environment we work in. As part of our commitment to the environment our employees are encouraged to talk about environmental issues at least once a month in toolbox talks.
We are committed to sustainability, by way of recycling of our products, our Exploration Drilling equipment is track mounted to limit the ground disturbance and enable greater accessibility to drill sites in remote or rugged terrain.
Protection of Livestock, Flora and Fauna- All reasonable action is to be taken to prevent unnecessary disturbance, injury or damage to flora or fauna or breeding areas. Native flora and fauna is not to be removed from its normal environment.
Our equipment is washed down prior to travelling to clean areas in accordance with the designated wash down procedures.
All work is carried out in accordance with work regulations of the site owners and council or government regulations and legislation as to allowable working hours, acceptable noise levels.

Training

At Kerembla we believe our employees are provided with adequate training. We have a highly skilled workforce with the core being highly experienced in Drilling.
We have 2 registered Assessors with the Australian Drilling Industry Training Committee (ADITC) able to assess up to Certificate V Diploma in Drilling Operations. We maintain our currency through professional development and keeping up to date with the latest industry developments.
Along with these qualifications we also have 6 other key personnel holding Certificate IV in Drilling Operations, 5 Drillers holding Certificate III in Drilling Operations and lastly but just as importantly all of our Drillers Assistants hold Certificate II in Drilling Qualifications.
Managers and supervisors shall ensure that the selection of employees for participation in training programmes will be made in fair, unbiased and equitable manner.
All employees shall be encouraged to participate in a positive way in the development of skills, through training and/or experience to improve the overall operation.
All employees, contractors and visitors are trained to the appropriate standard, prior to the commencement of work or entry.
